The Marquee, Gold on Black — Personalized Horse Stall Name Plate

Walk down any barn aisle and you'll know immediately which horses are truly loved — their stalls tell the story.

This is that sign.

Handcrafted one at a time in Austin, Texas by a life-long horse lover, each name plate is made for someone who understands that a horse isn't just an animal — it's a relationship worth celebrating.

Each sign combines a hand-finished and sealed Baltic birch wood backing with premium brushed gold acrylic lettering — creating a dimensional, light-catching effect that painted wood signs simply cannot replicate.

The gold never dulls. The letters never chip. And every time you walk past that stall, you'll feel exactly what you wanted to feel when you ordered it.

✨What makes this different

Most stall signs are flat, generic, and forgettable. This one isn't.

The raised brushed gold acrylic letters catch barn light differently at every angle — morning sun, aisle lighting, golden hour through the barn doors. The layered construction creates dramatic shadow lines that give each sign a sculptural quality you simply cannot achieve with engraving or flat painting.

Every detail was considered — from the flush keyhole mount that sits completely flat against the wall with nothing to snag leads or blankets, to the hand-adjusted letter spacing that makes every name — whether three letters or sixteen — feel perfectly balanced and intentional.

✨Materials & Construction

• Raised brushed gold acrylic lettering
• Brushed black acrylic base panel
• Hand-finished Baltic birch wood frame and backing
• Sealed with shellac and multiple coats of spar urethane
• Black keyhole hardware — flush mount, barn safe
• Fido & Flicka logo engraved on back
• Natural wood grain means every piece is one of a kind

✨Sizes

Classic — 11.5" × 4" The perfect proportion for most barn stalls.  Ideal for most stalls and names (3–16 characters). Bold, elegant, and proportioned to look great in a row of doors.

Grande — 15.5" × 4" For longer names or barns that want a stronger visual statement in the aisle. The extended format has an almost European hotel corridor feel – refined and impossible to miss.

✨Personalization

Enter your horse’s name at checkout. I adjust letter size and spacing by hand for each order so the layout fits that name, not just a template.

✨Mounting & Use

Each sign arrives ready to hang with two black wood screws and a simple placement guide.
Best for barn interiors, covered barn exteriors, and protected patios.

Note: Sealed for protection, but not designed for full sun and rain or as a chew toy. For longest life, hang out of reach of bored teeth and direct weather.

✨Warranty

Every plate includes a 1‑year “Built for Barn Life” workmanship warranty covering issues like letters lifting, layers separating, or abnormal finish failure under normal covered use. Chewing, kicks, and full outdoor exposure are not covered.

Perfect for: stalls, tack rooms, boarder welcome signs, show barns, and any horse you love enough to put their name in lights.

Handcrafted in Austin, Texas. Designed by a fellow animal lover who understands the bond between you and your horse — because she feels that same connection with hers every single day.

Natural wood grain variations make every piece one of a kind.
