The Cameo
A portrait, in profile.
A cameo has always meant a likeness carved to be kept — and that's exactly what this is. The Cameo makes your horse the centerpiece of the barn: a layered silhouette in profile, the name raised above it in flowing script, and a second line carrying your words below.
I cut and layer each one by hand here in Austin. Three techniques meet in a single sign — the horse silhouette cut from wood and lifted for depth, the name raised in dimensional lettering that catches the light, and your secondary line engraved cleanly into natural Baltic birch. The result has real shadow and depth that a flat, printed sign can't touch. It reads as artwork first and signage second — and it's never pulled from a template. It's cut for the horse whose name it carries.
Every time you walk that aisle, you'll feel it: the quiet pride of a barn that looks exactly like yours.
Make it yours

- Engraved second line — your barn name, a registered name, or a phrase like "Owned & Loved by…"
- Layered horse silhouette — a profile portrait cut and raised for depth

- Cut-and-layered Baltic birch construction — raised silhouette, raised lettering, engraved secondary line

Handcrafted in Austin, Texas. As a life-long horse lover myself, I understand what these animals mean to you — and every sign leaves my studio with that understanding built into it.
Each sign is handcrafted in our Austin, Texas studio and made to order with exceptional care. Because every layer is individually painted, sealed, and finished, we allow proper drying and curing time to ensure your sign is smooth, durable, and barn-ready.
After finishing, your sign cures for 24–48 hours — long enough to be safely packaged and shipped without imprinting or sticking. However, the protective finish continues to fully cure over the next 5–7 days, deepening its durability and ensuring long-lasting beauty in real barn conditions.
Our production timeline is 3–10 business days, which includes cutting, layering, painting, sealing, and initial curing. If you request an art proof, production begins after you approve the design.
Once complete, your sign ships through trusted carriers with an estimated U.S. delivery time of 2–7 business days, depending on location.
⭐ How Your Wood Stall Sign Ships
Because our stall signs are solid wood and crafted in custom sizes, we package them using a protective, eco-conscious wrapping method rather than boxes. This approach:
- Provides excellent protection with multiple layers of butcher paper, bubble wrap, and heavy-duty kraft reinforcement
- Reduces unnecessary packaging waste
- Lowers the environmental impact by avoiding oversized boxes
Your sign is fully cushioned, wrapped with care, and securely sealed for its journey — all without the bulk, waste, or added cost of a box. (Large or multi-sign orders may ship in a box when appropriate.)
⭐ Delivery Timeline
Once complete, your order ships through trusted carriers with an estimated U.S. delivery time of 2–7 business days, depending on location. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your package begins its trip home to you.
