There's one name that turns a stall into theirs.
The Marquee gives it the spotlight it deserves. One name, beautifully set — because the horse you love isn't part of the scenery, they're the headliner.
In gold on white, this one glows. Raised brushed-gold lettering rests on a clean white acrylic panel framed in hand-finished Baltic birch, and the effect is soft and almost candlelit — the way morning light falls through a barn door, the warmth of a tack room at the end of a good ride. It's the finish I reach for when a barn is light, airy, and quietly beautiful, or when "farmhouse" means refined, not rustic.
I make each one myself, one at a time, here in Austin. I adjust the letter spacing by hand until the name sits perfectly balanced — never stamped from a template, always made for the horse whose name it carries.
Every time you walk past that stall, you'll feel it: this one is yours, and it's lovely.
✨What makes this different
Most stall signs are flat, generic, and forgettable. This one isn't.
The raised brushed gold acrylic letters catch barn light differently at every angle — morning sun, aisle lighting, golden hour through the barn doors. The layered construction creates dramatic shadow lines that give each sign a sculptural quality you simply cannot achieve with engraving or flat painting.
Every detail was considered — from the flush keyhole mount that sits completely flat against the wall with nothing to snag leads or blankets, to the hand-adjusted letter spacing that makes every name — whether three letters or sixteen — feel perfectly balanced and intentional.
✨Materials & Construction
- Raised brushed gold acrylic lettering
- White acrylic base panel
- Hand-finished Baltic birch wood frame and backing
- Sealed with shellac and multiple coats of spar urethane
- Black keyhole hardware — flush mount, barn safe
- Fido & Flicka logo engraved on back
✨Sizes
Standard — 11.5" × 4" The perfect proportion for most barn stalls. Ideal for names of 3–16 characters. Shorter names feel bold and prominent. Longer names are carefully hand-adjusted for perfect balance.
Extended — 15.5" × 4" For longer names or for those who want a more commanding presence in the barn aisle. The elongated format has an almost European hotel corridor quality — distinctive, elegant, and impossible to miss.
✨Personalization
Simply enter your horse(s)' name at checkout. Each name is individually adjusted by hand — letter size and spacing are refined so every sign feels custom made for that specific name. Because it is.
✨Mounting
Each sign arrives ready to hang with two black wood screws and a placement guide included. The flush keyhole mount installs flat against the wall — safe for horses, leads, and blankets passing through the aisle. Suitable for barn interiors, covered barn exteriors, and protected outdoor areas.
✨Perfect for
Horse stalls and tack rooms — barn aisle sets — equestrian gifts — boarder welcome signs — show barn and competition stable décor — holiday and birthday surprises
Note: Signs are sealed for protection but are not intended for full outdoor exposure. Best suited for barns, stables, or covered areas to preserve their beauty.
✨ Warranty
Every plate includes a 1‑year “Built for Barn Life” workmanship warranty covering issues like letters lifting, layers separating, or abnormal finish failure under normal covered use. Chewing, kicks, and full outdoor exposure are not covered.
